Ctg port berth operators demand fuel surcharge amid diesel price hike

Berth operators at Chittagong Port have requested the implementation of a fuel surcharge, citing a 69% rise in diesel prices since 2022. According to the operators, the most recent hike of Tk20 per litre has rendered the current container handling rates financially unsustainable.
