Power Grid forms 5-member probe committee over grid failure

A five-member probe committee has been established to investigate the causes behind the recent power grid failure. Today, power generation dropped by 5,370MW within a single hour. The decline was driven by a 60% reduction in gas-fired output and a 39% drop in coal-fired generation as several power plants went offline.
