The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has put forward a proposal to extend the duration of spectrum allocation to 20 years. Additionally, the commission is considering a revision of the associated fees. It is noted that these fee adjustments could potentially lead to a decrease in government revenue generated from spectrum sales.
