The government of Bangladesh has officially issued a notification regarding the new pay scale for public officials and employees. The revised salary and allowances are set to be effective starting from July of this year. The implementation of this pay structure will be carried out in three phases over two fiscal years. Under this new policy, salaries will see an increase ranging from 100 percent to a maximum of 142 percent.
