The 16th Butterfly Fair is scheduled to take place at Jahangirnagar University on 27 November. Organisers have expressed concern over the decline in butterfly diversity on campus, noting that the number of species has dropped from approximately 110 to 70. This reduction is attributed to habitat destruction, urbanisation, and ongoing development activities.
