According to a survey, only 10% of the population in Bangladesh is aware of the Right to Information Act. Among those who are familiar with the law, merely 8.1% understand the procedure for requesting information. Furthermore, the findings indicate that 65% of government officials lack sufficient knowledge regarding the implementation of the act.
